All you need to know before you schedule a lesson
It is prefered that advance notice (at least 72 hours) be given when a student is unable to attend a lesson. If this isn't possible due to the unforeseen nature of the absence you will not be charged as long as the lesson can be rescheduled for later the same week. If notice is less than 24 hours you will need to pay for the missed lesson.
There are so many benefits to 1:1 tutoring but ultimately you may decide it is not for you.
Think about these questions:
'Do I currently get enough support?'
'If I am stuck on a problem, is the issue resolved quickly?'
'Do my teachers know what kind of learner I am and what best helps me?'
'If I have additional needs, are they being met or taken into consideration?'
'Can I focus well in the classroom?'
If the answer to any of those questions is no, think about tutoring.
